Alice E. Macrino, 74, of Mechanicsburg passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024 in Claremont Nursing Home, Carlisle.
Born December 22, 1949 in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of the late Fred E. and Margaret (Miller) Isenberger. The widow of Antonio Macrino, she was also preceded in death by her half sister Maryann Horan.
She was a custodian at the Route 81 truck stops, a graduate of the former William Penn High School and attended New Life Assembly of God Church, Grantville. Alice was a social butterfly and people loved her smile.
Surviving are her daughter Tina DePalma, son- in-law Andrew DePalma, grandson Rafael Medina, grandson Eric Page, granddaughter Alexa DePalma, grand-pup Minnie, sister Fredda Williams brother-in-law Larry Williams, niece Mindy Garlinger, nephew Michael Williams, niece Kelly Horan and cousins Wilma (Timi) Zeider, Robert DePew Jr (deceased), Robin Sheaffer, Rachelle DePew, Jason DePew, Amanda Bernier and Jeremy Zeiders.
Special friends that are like family: the Walter family Luis and Amy, Aymarie, Pup Azura, Tom and Phyllis Holdsworth, Adeela Sharp and children Kyra and Teagan, Jessica Rector and children Keyairah, Amaya, Xavier, and Demetri, Tatiana Gomez and children Yessenia, Gisell, Robert, and Elena and Shirley Ritrievi.
All her close friends were family to her. She said and she loved each and every one! She had lots of friends in her lifetime, and they all say how she was outgoing and always loved smiling and being happy, she is going to be missed by many.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, April 12, 2024 at Resurrection Cemetery, 116 South Oak Grove Road, Harrisburg.
