Ray Edgar Miller, Jr., 86, of East Hanover Township, Dauphin County passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2026 in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center.
Born July 8, 1939 in Paxtonia, he was a son of the late Ray Edgar, Sr. and Mabel (Young) Miller. He was the widower, since February 2018, of Ethel C. (Gamber) Miller, after 58 years of marriage, and also preceded in death by a grandson Shane Fox and sister Dorothy Reigel.
Retired from the Harrisburg Paper Company after 42 years, Ray previously enjoyed fishing.
Surviving are his children Cathy Ondesko (Tom) of Shermans Dale, Robert Miller (Sherry) of Salisbury, North Carolina, Richard Miller of Hummelstown, and Cheryl Hobby (Randy) of Lewisburg, Tennessee; siblings Percy Miller (widower of Peg), Edna Pletz (widow of George), Elsie Geesaman (widow of Leroy), and Esther Lyons (widow of George); eight grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, February 23, 2026 at Buse Funeral Home, 9066 Jonestown Road, Grantville with private interment in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg.
